Rapid Growth! Over 185 Projects of LED Screens for Cinemas in the First Three Quarters

As of the end of the third quarter of this year, more than 185 LED cinema screen projects have been implemented in China. Traditional film projection relies on projectors to project light onto a diffuse screen, which suffers from inherent shortcomings such as brightness loss and limited contrast. LED cinema screens, as self-luminous display devices, have achieved a leap forward in key image quality indicators such as brightness, contrast, and color saturation. Especially when showing 3D movies, their brightness can be more than twice that of traditional systems, effectively solving the problems of dim images and blurry details in previous 3D films. More importantly, Chinese R&D teams have made breakthrough progress in solving the inherent problems of 3D viewing. For example, a polarized LED 3D display system developed by a Chinese technical team is said to significantly reduce or even eliminate the "dizziness syndrome" caused by traditional 3D movies, and outperforms existing equipment in key indicators such as crosstalk, setting a new benchmark for immersive viewing experiences. In addition, innovative technologies such as fully transparent LED screens, by precisely arranging sound-permeable holes on the screen, allow sound to penetrate the screen without loss, achieving the physical integration of the sound system and the screen, thus ensuring sound and image synchronization and accurate sound field positioning, further enhancing the sense of immersion.
