On April 14, the Digital & Intelligent Studio Park at Chengdu Film & TV City officially opened its doors; its core facilities-the LED Virtual Production Studio and the Motion Capture Studio-commenced operations simultaneously.
The newly inaugurated virtual production studio covers an expansive area of 57,000 square meters. Its core zone is constructed from a seamless assembly of hundreds of LED panels, forming a colossal fan-shaped screen with an arc length of 60 meters and a height of 12 meters, totaling 720 square meters in surface area.
The studio is further equipped with a 100-square-meter adjustable LED ceiling canopy and a rotating set turntable spanning over 1,100 square meters. Leveraging millisecond-level tracking feedback and real-time rendering technologies, the system achieves a seamless integration between virtual environments and live-action filming.
